Every season, there is one outfit that becomes a staple in my wardrobe for those fail-safe days. Lately, I've found myself drawn to blazers like a moth to a flame. I seem to have accumulated a full rail now dedicated to blazers but they are just such a staple! I could wear a t-shirt and jeans every day for a week with a different blazer and no one would be any wiser. (Except now that I've revealed it on here...)

I have been totally lusting over the classic check Burberry blazer for a while now, so when I spotted this suuuper similar one on ASOS (for a millionth of the price) I barely had chance to blink before I found myself at the checkout. I wanted to keep the outfit fairly simple to let the blazer stand out, whilst also exuding that oh so 90's feel with a simple blue jean, white tee and my absolute faaaavourite shoes ever - the Jadon Docs. I purchased these last year when they finally came back in stock after months of scouring the internet for them, and boy oh boy were they worth it! Without a doubt the best purchase of 2018.

I adore the androgynous feel to this look and it is definitely something I will be rocking more in the future. What do you think?
