*Created in collaboration with Daniel Wellington*

Mother's Day is fast approaching, and with that comes the looming panic of present buying. Of course, gift giving is a wonderful thing, and I am without a doubt OBSESSED with all things gifting. In fact, I'm probably more likely to spend more on the whole gift wrapping extravaganza than the present itself! (Stingy or just a stationary junkie?)

But fear not my lovelies, I've put together a mini gift guide to save you the hassle. This gift guide contains something for every kind of mama out there! From the fashionistas, to the pyjama-lovers, here's to mum!

What better a gift than jewellery for any girl? Rings, necklaces, earrings, you name it. Jewellery is pretty much a fail-safe in any book. High street and luxury brands both have a tonne of beautiful jewels to offer. I buy my own jewellery from the likes of ASOS and Topshop, as I'm entirely about that fun factor, however my mum much prefers finer, more delicate pieces. Below are some of my favourites on offer at the moment!

Something every woman has in her wardrobe and can never have enough of. (That - and shoes, obvs.)  The high street have some INSANE bags coming out every week in preparation for Spring/Summer. Whether your mum is loud and proud with her accessories or likes to keep it a little more muted, a bag is a great gift that not only looks amazing but is practical to. Win win! If you're not entirely sure on what style of handbag to go for, why not try a purse or cardholder? Brands such as YSL and Miu Miu do some stunning cardholders for under £200 if you're looking to treat mum to something special.

No jewellery cupboard is complete without a watch, right? Daniel Wellington have been on my radar for quite some time now, I'm yet to see a new design I don't love! I was lucky enough to collaborate with #danielwellington on this post to share with you their new offer for Mother's Day: "Time to thank mum". Simply pick out a watch from their website, and get a matching cuff for half price! As a further treat for you guys, I'm managed to bag you an extra 15% off with the code TASMINEWILLIAMS. You're totally welcome ;)

You can view their selection of bundles by clicking here or using the image links below to shop my personal favourites. This is a gift I'm sure anyone would be thrilled to receive, so you really can't go wrong!

My family have always been avid book-readers. One of my favourite pass-times during my childhood was spending hours on end trawling through book shop shelves or flopped out on the beanbags reading an entire book before proceeding to pop it back on the shelf without purchase. It still makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. But I think that's the beauty of books. They transport you to another world and allow you to escape the chaotic one around us. For this reason, a book is always a great gift. Pictured above are a few of my favourite fashion-related books, however I'm also totally obsessed with thrillers of late.

Some fiction favourites of mine and my mums are:
Gone Girl, The Time Travellers Wife, The Girl on the Train, Behind Her Eyes, Sweet Little Lies.

Every year for Christmas I'm lucky enough to be treated to my favourite *slightly pricey* haircare. Anyone else resent spending their own money on shampoo and conditioner? Necessities are never the most fun for frivolous spending. But this Percy & Reed set has served me oh so well in recent years that it has now become an absolute staple in my haircare routine. The smell is seriously outta this world and the combination of the two leaves your hair smelling TO. DIE. FOR.

There are so many amazing beauty products available at the moment, it's almost impossible to choose. Personally, both myself and my mum are HUGE fans of Urban Decay for all eyeshadow related products. Offering a range of stunning palettes perfect for both day and night, they are a stunning addition to any make-up collection! If eyeshadow doesn't quite fit the bill, why not go for a something a little more failsafe, like foundation or mascara? Benefit are great for some mid-range options - and the packaging alone is worth every penny!

Is there any better feeling than being complimented on your perfume? I think not. (Aside from getting slipping into a hot, bubble bath after a long, hard day of doing absolutely nothing. Ahhh...)

But in all seriousness, it's a great feeling being complimented on how you smell, right?! I must have about twenty bottles of perfume that I've accumulated over previous Christmases and birthdays, yet every year I'm just as happy to receive another bottle to add to my collection. Some favourites of mine are listed below. Simply click on the links to be taken straight to the products!

I hope this post was helpful and gave you some inspiration for how to treat your lovely mum this Mother's Day! Do let me know your feedback on this kind of post below, it was a really fun post to collaborate on with the lovely Daniel Wellington and was so much fun adding a little more creativity into my imagery. Don't forget to use the code TASMINEWILLIAMS for an added 15% off the Daniel Wellington website!
