OCTOBER FAVOURITES

31.10.15

 Happy Halloween!
Can you believe it's here already? I still remember waking up on the 3rd of October to all of the Mean Girl quotes like it was yesterday....

1. Cadbury's Milk Tray
I've always been a fan of a good box of chocolates, but I am yet to find one that trumps the classic milk tray. My favourite thing to do this time of year is to sit in front of the tele in my dressing gown, with a cup of tea and some chocolates... remind me again why it isn't Autumn all year round?

2. Red Roses
A lovely surprise from my equally lovely boyfriend (*cheese alert*), but receiving these made me realise how much difference a vase of flowers can make to a room! It definitely seems to uplift my mood, and let's not even mention how marvellous they make your house smell without you even having to lift a finger.

3. NARS Sheer Glow Foundation
I was a little hesitant to spend this much money on a 30ml bottle of foundation at first, (I'm a Rimmel girl through and through), but my gosh was it worth it! At around £35 this isn't the cheapest, but I've noticed a huge improvement in the actual condition of my skin without makeup after using this for as little as a week! The finish of the foundation is stunning too, and leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and feels like I'm wearing nothing at all! It's a thumbs up from me.

4. Real Techniques Eye Brushes
Can you tell I've gone a little OTT on makeup loving this month? October has brought out my inner make-up artist wannabe self, so with the new eyeshadows I've been treating myself too, I thought it was only right to find some brushes to accompany them. I love playing around with eyeshadow looks, as apart from a lipstick, they can completely change your look. These are the perfect brushes to create pretty much any look you want - go wild!

5. Daisy by Marc Jacobs Perfume
Now I'm pretty sure I've mentioned this in a past favourites post, but I just bloody love it. Seriously, it's the perfect amount of fruity mixed with floral scents - delish! Admittedly, it is more of a summer scent, so I may have to give up my love affair with this one for the next few months, but since I've practically smothered myself in it every day this month, I thought it was only right to include it in this monthly favourites.
