The Cat in the Hat

17.6.15

I've actually had these photos saved on my computer for around two months now but they seemed to have weaved their way to the back of my mind, as I'd completely forgotten about them until now!
I'm sooo pleased I found them as the backdrop is probably one of my favourite ever for a blog shoot; can you believe these photos are all on the same street? Pretty weird, huh? To the left you have some beautiful almost edible-looking candy coloured houses, which remind me of the houses in Dr Seuss' 'The Cat in the Hat', and then to your right you have a stark black brick wall covered in grafitti.

This is one of the main reasons I'm just desperate to move to London - there's so many little side streets and not-so-well-known places around every corner that hold little surprises like this one. Living in the countryside for the majority of my life, it surprises some people how much I love the city. The hustle and bustle of London is the complete opposite of where I'm from but I just cannot get enough.

Let me know if you've found any little gems of a street like this one below!

  2. I've been a fan of these tan suede jackets for a while with all this 70's trend, but after seeing this outfit, I'm definitely won over with it! The lace up boots are a nice alternative to a normal black boot!
