Left to Right: Topshop 'Ditsy' | Chanel '49' | Mac 'Please Me' | Mac 'Velvet Teddy' | Rimmel London Kate Moss '01'

As we're beginning to enter Spring I thought I'd show you all my top 5 lipstick colours that I think are perfect for Spring. The ones featured in this post are mostly peach, pink and nude tones, with the final one being the trusty red lippy that never goes out of style.

Topshop 'Ditsy' - If I'm being totally honest I'm not actually that keen on this lipstick. Maybe it's just me but I find that it doesn't stay on for very long after eating or drinking despite putting lip-sealer on. I'm much more of a matte lover so perhaps that's why this isn't my fave, but it does have its benefits. It's sooo moisturising, it honestly feels like a lip moisturiser more than an actual lipstick, and the colour is actually surprisingly pigmented. Despite my love/hate relationship with this lipstick, I've included it because the peach-orange colour is just perfect for Spring.

Chanel '49' - I bought this lipstick on a whim on my flight back from holdiay... I had some Turkish money left over and thought 'why not?'. I mean, its cheaper, and Chanel! What more could a girl want? Similar to the Topshop lipstick, this one has a slightly moisturising and shiny finish and the baby pink colour is perfect for pretty much any skin tone as it's quite a natural, subtle colour.

Mac 'Please Me' - Mac never seems to fail on the lipstick end. This lipstick is kinda similar to the Chanel one, the only difference is that this one is a slightly darker shade of pink and comes in a matte finish. I think matte lipsticks in general tend to be more pigmented purely due to the texture, but this one is just lovely. If you're looking for more of an eye-catching, less natural pop of pink on your lips then this is the lipstick for you.

Mac 'Velvet Teddy' - Probably my favourite lipstick ever?! This lipstick is not only my favourite, but around 90% of the female population too, and I don't blame them. After Kylie Jenner set the trend with a big nude pout in 2014, everyone has been after this lippy to try and re-create the look. Again, in a matte finish, this lipstick is super pigmented and flatters my pale skin really well. I wear it daily and get so many compliments on it. If you're looking for a more natural lipstick I'd highly recommend this. It's also really long-lasting.

Rimmel London Kate Moss '01' - You can never go wrong with the classic red lip. The icon's collab with Rimmel London has been one of the strongest yet. The lipsticks are my favourite on the high street and in my opinion, are of similar quality to the more high end lipsticks. Red lips suit any skin tone, always on trend and are responsible for that badass "don't mess with me" look.

So those are my top 5 lipsticks for Spring! If you have any recommendations let me know in the comments below!
